WAIT — Did Beyoncé Just Drop 2 New Albums Using the Alias Queen Carter?!

Stop. The. Presses. Beyoncé, our pop queen, might have rolled out two new albums right under our noses, and we didn't even notice. On Thursday, a Twitter user shared a screenshot of a new album on iTunes that's listed under an artist named Queen Carter. Funny enough, the singer sounds just like Beyoncé, aka Mrs. Carter!

As fans started to lose their minds, others began sharing screenshots of two albums titled Back Up, Rewind and Have Your Way on Spotify, which were published on the streaming site on Dec. 14 and Dec. 15, respectively. A song titled "Control" was also released under the name Queen Carter. Some tunes, like "Hey Goldmember," are older jams from the singer, but it's unclear if the other tracks on the albums are leaked songs or if it's an official secret drop. Either way, the world is going mad — mad, I tell you!

But what is the truth, Bey? Well, it looks like it was all a false alarm. Shortly after word spread of Queen Carter, the not-new-but-sort-of-new albums disappeared from iTunes. Currently, Back Up, Rewind is still on Spotify and the song "Control" is available on both streaming services.

This isn't the first time songs from a popular artist have leaked. Earlier this month, singer SZA also had an album secretly released. On Thursday, she addressed the incident on Instagram, saying, "These are random scratches from 2015. Def not new new! But . . . creative? And scary?"

Still, it's not totally out of the ordinary for Beyoncé to reveal new music with no warning. She and JAY-Z did it back in June when they unveiled Everything Is Love, and, of course, we'll never forget Beyoncé's 2013 shocker, Beyoncé. We're still keeping an eye out for whoever this Queen Carter is, though. The Bey Hive is always watching.
