She first won over Bachelor Nation on the first group date by sharing that she is 31 years old and Colton is the first younger guy she ever dated. Apparently, that age is part of the "cougar den," and makes Elyse one of the "older" ladies. But we see her age as a positive if she were to take on the leading role. This makeup artist from Arizona knows what she wants, carries herself well, and makes us want her to find love.

Elyse revealed to Colton that her sister passed away from cancer, and that experience shaped her into the person she is today. She loves her nephew and niece, and is all about family and friends.

Honestly, we just really like her as a person and kind of want to date her ourselves. Plus, she would be the first red-headed Bachelorette we've ever had and we could probably learn some makeup tricks from her along the way.
