This Sand Artist's Moving Work Won Her Terry Crews's First-Ever Golden Buzzer, and I'm Sobbing

Another week, another tear-jerkingly beautiful performance on America's Got Talent: The Champions. During Monday night's episode of the NBC series, sand artist Kseniya Simonova tugged at the heartstrings of viewers everywhere when she showcased her jaw-dropping ability to manipulate mere grains of sand into full-fledged masterpieces — and that ability wound up earning her a spot in the finale!

A 33-year-old mother of two, Simonova won Ukraine's Got Talent back in 2009, an accomplishment that "completely changed [her] life" and allowed her family to buy a new home. When she took the America's Got Talent: The Champions stage, the artist explained that she was going to use sand to illustrate the story of "a child who grew up, became [a] famous artist, and forgot his parents." Needless to say, her presentation was quite the emotional ride, as her quick, dexterous movements were paired with sentimental music.

The judges were understandably blown away by Simonova's skills, as Howie Mandel said, "In my mind tonight, right here, right now, you are the champion." Plus, host Terry Crews was so moved by the contestant's performance that he jumped on the judges' platform to award her his first-ever golden buzzer! "I have never been more impressed by the ability to move people the way you did today," Crews said right before pressing the coveted button, marking the last golden buzzer of the season.
