The Cast of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark Is Ready to Scare the Sh*t Out of You

Spanish actor Javier Botet — who was diagnosed as a child with Marfan syndrome, a condition that gave Botet his extremely tall, thin build — pops up in the movie as the Jangly Man, a Slender Man-esque creature who appeared in one of the four Super Bowl teasers released for the film earlier this year. The role was originally supposed to be played by del Toro's longtime collaborator, Doug Jones, but Botet officially took on the part.
