Brie Larson may be better known as Captain Marvel now, but in this comedy (which she directed, coproduced, and stars in), she plays Kit, a unicorn-obsessed art student who is given the chance to adopt a unicorn of her very own, thanks to a flamboyantly-dressed sales clerk played by Samuel L. Jackson — and we promise that it's not as weird as it sounds.

This Chinese mystery thriller revolves around Lok, a tireless police officer attempting to track down a Chinese migrant worker who disappeared from a land reclamation site in Singapore, only to discover that another Bengali worker — a friend of the first worker — has also gone missing.

Riverdale's Camila Mendes stars in this rom-com as a beautiful private school student who — bored with her usual selection of eligible bachelors — resorts to using an app that allows you to rent out stand-in boyfriends. Luck would have it that she comes across a sweet guy just trying to save money for college by renting himself out (and who also happens to be Netflix heartthrob Noah Centineo).

Starring Kiernan Shipka and Stanley Tucci, this horror film tells the story of a deaf teen named Ally who moves with her family to escape terrifying creatures who hunt humans by sound, but in their remote new town, they face a new threat: a cult that wants to exploit Ally's heightened senses. If this isn't the new Bird Box, then we don't know what is.
