A Bunch of New Characters From Frozen 2 Have Been Revealed — See the Photos!

The release date for the sequel to Frozen, titled simply Frozen 2, is inching closer by the day. While we won't figure out exactly what Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven are up to until the buzzy animated film hits theaters on Nov. 22 — though we do have a bunch of theories about their new adventure — Disney has luckily released a handful of images and posters (as well as a new trailer) to tide us over in the meantime. On top of all that, we've also gotten a glimpse of the characters stars like Sterling K. Brown, Jason Ritter, Evan Rachel Wood, and Martha Plimpton will be voicing. Keep scrolling to see them all!

In the latest batch of images released by Disney, we meet three members of the nomadic Northuldra people, who live in the Enchanted Forest beyond Arendelle. Honeymaren (on the left), voiced by Rachel Matthews, who "is a true free spirit and wants nothing more than to bring peace to the enchanted forest." Standing beside her is her brother, Ryder (Jason Ritter), who "embraces life with optimism" and longs to roam the great plains beyond the Enchanted Forest.

Finally, on the right, is Yelana, who Disney describes as the "unspoken leader" of the Northuldra. She is fiercely protective of her family and community but is known to soften when people show an understanding of nature and their environment." She's voiced by Martha Plimpton, and will no doubt factor heavily into Elsa's big adventure.

Alfred Molina has joined the cast to play King Agnarr, who we'll meet via flashback. He's the son of King Runeard and is married to Queen Iduna, which makes him Anna and Elsa's father. Disney notes that he "loves his family and would do anything to ensure his daughters' wellbeing and safety."

Disney

Kristen Bell shared the first look at General Mattias, a member of the palace army who will be voiced by Sterling K. Brown. In the new trailer, we hear him declare that "Arendelle must be protected at all costs."

Disney

Meet Bruni! The tiny salamander lives in the Enchanted Forest and will cross paths with Elsa. He's curious and cute, and "though shy at first, Bruni can't help but be drawn to Elsa's icy magic" and the snowflake treats she creates for him.

Westworld's Evan Rachel Wood is on board to voice Queen Iduna. Like her husband King Agnarr, we'll see her in bittersweet flashbacks to when Anna and Elsa were young.
