The Cast of A Quiet Place 2 Is So Good, You'll Probably Scream, but We Don't Recommend It

The sequel to A Quiet Place is shaping up. Not only have we gotten a May 2020 release date and some details about where the plot is heading — Evelyn (Emily Blunt) and her kids will run into a few survivors, and we'll also get some answers about those noise-driven aliens — but the cast is also growing by the day. Since John Krasinski's character won't be returning for obvious reasons (don't worry, he's still on board as director!), the studio is bringing in some fresh faces to join Blunt and her young costars. Emily Blunt as Evelyn Abbott

The Mary Poppins Returns actress will reprise her role as Abbot matriarch Evelyn, who will do anything to keep her children safe.

Millicent Simmonds as Regan Abbott

The talented young Andi Mack actress is coming back to play Evelyn's eldest child, Regan, who has a few close calls in the first film.

Noah Jupe as Marcus Abbott

Jupe has racked up quite a few roles since appearing in the horror film, including Ford v Ferrari and Honey Boy. Fortunately he'll be back as Marcus, Evelyn's middle child.

Cillian Murphy

There's no word yet on who the Peaky Blinders star will be playing, but since he's equally talented at portraying charming good guys as he is chilling villains, we're excited to see how he fits into the equation.

Brian Tyree Henry

The Widows and Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse star is everywhere these days, and for good reason. He'll be lending his immensely talented skills to the sequel as . . . well, we don't know yet, but we'll bet he's playing a fellow survivor.
