  • The scoop: This holiday rom-com from Paul Feig and Emma Thompson stars Emilia Clarke as Kate (Clarke), a struggling singer in London who has experienced a life-threatening illness in the past and currently works at a Christmas shop (she spends most of the film dressed as an adorable elf). A chance meeting with a handsome stranger (Henry Golding) changes her opinion on both Christmas and love in general.
