Beyoncé's Rare Interview Has the Beyhive in a Tizzy

The Beyhive is buzzing, folks! From the release of her Homecoming documentary to her $60 million deal with Netflix, and her role as Nala in The Lion King remake, Beyoncé has been giving 2019 her all. Her latest surprise came in the form of a rare TV interview, which the notoriously private musician hasn't done in years. The 37-year-old artist made the exception for a sit-down with Good Morning America's Robin Roberts to talk about her compilation album inspired by the film and the newly released title track, "Spirit."

"This soundtrack is a love letter to Africa and I wanted to make sure we found the best talent from Africa, and not just use some of the sounds and did my interpretation of it," Beyoncé told ABC News. "I wanted it to be authentic to what is beautiful about the music in Africa," she said, adding that they used "all these incredible new sounds mixed with some of the producers from America."

Though the interview was brief, it was more than enough to get the artist's fans excited. A new music video, an album, and an interview? There's no way the Beyhive was going to be chill about all that! Scroll ahead for some of the funniest reactions to Beyoncé's sit-down and then, find out how the singer's year could get even better once award season comes around.
