Jordan Peele is continuing the story of the original 1992 of the same name, returning to the notorious Cabrini-Green housing projects where the events of the first movie took place — except now the neighborhood is completely gentrified. Tony Todd is returning to reprise his role as the titular Candyman, the son of a slave who — after he was murdered in the late 19th century — decided to get vengeance as a murderous ghost.
