The 10 Most Massive Movies of the Decade — Broken Down by Year

The much anticipated sequel to Finding Nemo, Finding Dory became the second Pixar film (after Toy Story 3) to gross over $1 billion. The film also set several records, including the biggest North America opening for an animated movie and the highest grossing animated film in North America at the time as well. Perhaps its success can be attributed to its emotional experience, or its thought-provoking and poignant story about loss both physically and mentally. Either way, the critical response to the sequel was sharply positive.
