I was lucky enough to watch her perform this album live, and I'm not sure what I loved more — the all-too-relatable lyrics or her glimmering floor-length gown. Jenny Lewis has an unmistakable talent for making something for everyone, and the greatest part about the album is that you can tell how much she made it for herself. The dreaminess in Lewis's voice mixed with the strong rock tunes of her band gripped me from the beginning — as I listen to each song, I daydream about being on stage and singing them myself, with Lewis's Southern twang and all.
