The Shazam Family Is Bigger and Better Than Ever in the Sequel

Not much is known about the plot of "Shazam! Fury of the Gods" outside of the fact that Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu have been cast in the villainous roles of the Daughters of Atlas. It also seems like there will be more Shazam Family team-ups, after the first film mostly focused on Billy learning how to use his powers. Early in the trailer, Billy complains that he's the only one holding the team together, so expect the movie to focus at least in part on the family learning how to work as a team.

Additionally, "Shazam!" director David F. Sandberg is helming the sequel — which could explain the Annabelle cameo since he also directed "Annabelle: Creation."
