When Detective Scott Galban (Reeves) discovers that his partner, Detective Joey Cullen, has been mysteriously killed, he works to try to get to the bottom of who is behind his murder. During the investigation, however, Scott starts to go down a rabbit hole that reveals a police coverup and corruption on the end of his partner, subsequently leading him to Isabel De La Cruz (de Armas), who was swept up in his corruption.
