Five years after his retirement from M16, James Bond (Daniel Craig) is recruited by the CIA to help capture M16 scientist Valdo Obruchev, who went rogue and is plotting with Spectre to engineer a biochemical weapon. Though initially hesitant, Bond agrees and teams up with Nomi, a new 00 agent, and CIA agent Paloma (de Armas), who aids him as he works to find Obruchev while also avoiding a new adversary, Lyutsifer Safin (Rami Malek).
