"Ghosted" begins like a traditional romantic comedy, following Evans's character Cole as he meets and falls for de Armas's Sadie. When she disappears to London and ghosts him, Cole becomes convinced there must be a misunderstanding and travels to London to find her. But he's quickly abducted by some shady characters — and then rescued by a gun-wielding Sadie, who turns out to be a CIA agent. Soon Cole finds himself drawn into a complicated, globe-trotting game of espionage and action.
