Sebastian Stan Is Running a Con Worth Billions in Apple TV+'s "Sharper"

No one seems to be who they say they are in Apple TV+'s latest starry film, "Sharper." Starring Julianne Moore, John Lithgow, Sebastian Stan, and Justice Smith, the thriller takes viewers into the world of Manhattan's most elite — and those who have managed to infiltrate it looking for their own piece of the wealth.

Directed by Benjamin Caron, "Sharper" was released in theaters on Feb. 10 and will begin streaming on Apple TV+ on Feb. 17. In the trailer for the movie, Stan's character Max attempts to pull a simple con on his mother, Madeline's (Moore), new partner, Richard, played by Lithgow. "This is what my son does, he plays these games," Madeline laments when Max's simple scam gets derailed. But bolstered by a comment from Richard, Max starts to think bigger. Like, billions bigger.

He recruits Briana Middleton's character, Sandra, and targets Richard's son, played by Justice Smith. But things don't seem as straightforward as Max's plan requires.
