Here's Your First Look at Timothée Chalamet as Willy Wonka
Timothée Chalamet shared a first look at his upcoming role as Willy Wonka back in October, and we're counting down the days until its release. The actor's role in "Wonka," the prequel to "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," was announced in May, and since then, we've been awaiting any glimpse of a teaser. Thankfully, our prayers have been answered at last.
Chalamet previously shared a picture of himself in costume on Instagram with a caption that read "The suspense is terrible, I hope it will last ... 🏭WONKA🍫." The caption appears to be a reference to a line from the 1971 film "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory." Chalamet was also spotted in full costume while on set in England on Oct. 11, and on Feb. 16, he was photographed filming at Oxford University.
While it's been several months since the film was announced, we'll have to wait until March 17th, 2023 for it to hit our screens. In the meantime, enjoy these pictures of Chalamet in full costume ahead.
