Tina Turner Gives Fans an Intimate Look Into Her Life in the Trailer For Her HBO Doc

Tina Turner's life is getting the HBO treatment! On March 10, the network released the official trailer for the upcoming Tina documentary, which will center on the 81-year-old legend's childhood and decades-long career. Tina is set to be released on March 27 and will feature never-before-seen footage, audio tapes, and personal photos, as well as interviews with Angela Bassett, Oprah Winfrey, journalist Kurt Loder, playwright Katori Hall, and Turner's husband, Erwin Bach.

In the clip, viewers get an intimate look at Turner's life, including her childhood, her marriage to Ike Turner, and her illustrious career. "Look what I have done in this lifetime with this body of a girl from a cotton field that proved myself above what was not taught to me," Turner says. "I had an abusive life.
