The ShibSibs Thank Their Mom For a Lifetime of Love and Support in Tear-Jerking Video

Alex and Maia Shibutani made a short film to thank their mom for everything she's done for them throughout their lives, and after watching it, you'll win first place for the most tears in the room. The adorable Team USA brother-sister ice dancing duo nicknamed the "ShibSibs" published the video on YouTube after working on it off and on since 2016. "Being an only child herself, it was important to our mom that I have a sibling," Alex says in the video. Alex was born in 1991, and his sister Maia joined the family in 1994. The siblings have always been close, and they've been skating together for more than a decade. "Our mom taught us to take care of each other, and so naturally we became each other's best friend," Maia says.

The three-minute-long video, titled "Our Mom," will make your heart swell with joy and remind you just how much a parent's support means. The kids explain, "She knew what it meant to dream about something and work hard to achieve her goals. While she was never a skater, she recognized our passion for our sport and has put all of her energy into supporting us in any way that she can." Talk about a touching tribute.
