Adam had his all school talent show today. He did Imagine. There wasn’t a parent in the room with a dry eye by the end. He got a standing ovation and the applause lasted forever!! A woman stopped me to tell me that she would buy it on iTunes if I put it out there!! I love his bow at the end...so polite!Posted by Michelle Cavarnos Kornowski on Thursday, May 24, 2018
A fourth grader in Minnesota has gone wildly viral for his talent show cover of John Lennon's "Imagine," and it's sure to leave you a blubbering, emotional wreck. Adam Kornowski put his musical skills and angelic voice on display while playing the piano and singing along to the classic '70s hit, leaving the small crowd — and the entire internet, for that matter — totally in awe.
Since Adam's mother, Michelle, shared a video of his performance on Facebook, it has been viewed more than 9 million times (whoa) and the post is flooded with thousands of comments from social media users praising his pure talent. In the video's caption, Michelle noted that "there wasn't a parent in the room with a dry eye by the end," adding that the 10-year-old received a standing ovation after his performance. "The applause lasted forever!!" she wrote.
Watch Adam's chills-inducing, tear-worthy rendition above — and be sure to stick it out till the end to witness his adorable bow. Our money's on this kid making it on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in the coming weeks!
