Devon Still's Daughter Attends His Game

Devon Still's Daughter Is the Guest of Honor at Cincinnati Bengals Game

It was a roller coaster of emotions for everyone attending (and watching) the Cincinnati Bengals game last night. For the first time, Devon Still's 4-year-old daughter, Leah, was able to watch her dad, a defensive tackle for the team, play in person. Not only that, but she received the loudest cheers of the night when the team presented a check for close to $1.4 million to Cincinnati Children's Hospital to benefit pediatric cancer research — all of the money raised through sales of Devon's jerseys.

As you'll recall, Leah was diagnosed with stage-four neuroblastoma, and her father was initially cut from the team after being distracted with her health in the preseason. But in an act of pure generosity, the Bengals brought him onto the practice squad so he could maintain his insurance (and a portion of his salary). Leah came through a successful surgery in September, and Devon was called up to join the team full-time.

Leah was released from her Philadelphia hospital to attend the game and will return there this weekend to begin radiation treatment. Her father will join her there, but not before having some fun before the game. Still changed up his pregame ritual to have some fun with Leah and tweeted about her experience. Though the team lost to the Browns, the clear winner of the night was Leah, who had the time of her life!
