In a story that has no logical explanation, at least five middle school students in a suburb of Pittsburgh were given Fifty Shades of Grey-themed word search puzzles by their teacher. Local news station WTAE Action 4 News shared the below image of the handout but had to censor many of the "search words" for television. Those that were shown included "submissive," "leather cuffs," "bondage," and "spanking." Just what you send your eighth grader to school to learn about.
"I asked my son who passed it out, and he said the teacher passed it out," said James Carter, whose son was one of the Monessen Middle School students to receive the puzzle. "I don't think this is what they should be doing in the eighth-grade level."
