Not Only Did These Firefighters Help Deliver a Woman's Baby, They Shoveled Her Driveway, Too

Firefighters from Iowa pulled double-duty in the middle of the polar vortex on Jan. 27. According to a Facebook post from a woman named Larissa Ruffin, two members of the Cedar Rapids Fire Department not only helped a mom give birth in her home, but shoveled her driveway after.

"Firehouse #5 thank you so much for shoveling my niece's driveway after she gave birth in her living room this morning!" said the post. "Literally brings tears to my eyes! Thank you!"

The helpful firefighters also drove the pair to the hospital and ensured "mom and baby had warm blankets before going out in the cold." Congrats to the new mom and her bundle of joy!
