Even though in the digital age text messages are king, moms pretty much rule when it comes to leaving handwritten notes. My kiddos can't even read, but I've already starting putting little drawings of smiley faces or hearts in their lunchboxes in hopes of brightening their day — because there is nothing else on this planet like a good note from your mama.
