A grandfather with good intentions recently ruined his granddaughter's doll, and his mistake has the internet cracking up. On Twitter, a mom shared pictures of the doll in question and said her father had tried to inexplicably clean his granddaughter's styling doll head with paint thinner. The result was horrifying.
Not only was the doll's bright blue makeup removed, but it also lost any semblance of a face. With no eyebrows — or eyes, for that matter – the grandfather then scrambled to find a solution. In an attempt to give the doll some of her features back, he cut out eyes from a magazine and stuck them directly onto the doll. Perfect solution, right? Wrong. Tragically wrong.
The upside to this destroyed doll of nightmares is that it's brought a lot of joy and laughter to the internet. The tweet has racked up over 7,000 retweets and 18,000 "likes," with many people making comparisons to the botched Ecce Homo painting or that strange Cristiano Ronaldo bust. The internet can be a wonderful place sometimes.
