Calling All Master Builders! Legoland California's New Castle Hotel Is Perfect Down to the Last Brick

Legoland California

Looking for the perfect getaway that will please both your knights-in-training and little ones who gab solely about princesses? Then you're in luck because Legoland's California Resort just officially released an opening date for its brand-new Castle Hotel in Carlsbad, CA. And, no, the word "enchanting" doesn't quite cover how amazing it is.

Legoland announced in a press release that guests can stay in one of the 250 LEGO-themed rooms that have adventurous themes, like knights and dragons, royal princesses, and magical wizards. There are also 20 suites to choose from if you're feeling especially royal.

The grounds beyond the rooms are equally as mystical. Families can check out the Grand Hall, a lobby with an enormous model of a wizard and an awesome slide that gets little ones from the second floor down to the first in a jiff. Hungry guests can chow down in Dragon's Den Restaurant, a full-service eatery complete with an open kitchen and LEGO models to entertain impatient diners.

And you can't miss the Royal Courtyard that has a DUPLO play area for younger kiddos, a larger play structure for older children, and a pool and a hot tub. And if it couldn't get any cooler, there are 2,100 different professionally crafted LEGO sculptures on the property that took over three million blocks to make.

The hotel opens its doors on April 27, but you can also book your room in advance. Scroll through to see every nook and cranny of this magical spot.
