This Animal Control Officer Sings to Shelter Dogs — and It's Safe to Say They Like It

Chad Olds, a 40-year-old animal control officer in Vance County, NC, decided to mix work with pleasure by singing to the dogs waiting to find a forever home in the animal shelter. It all started when Frankie Nobles, Chad's boss, told the former musician to put his talents to good use — and judging by the video, the dogs really seemed to like it.

Chad's first concert was on Feb. 13, and given its successful reception, they decided to put on another one to post on social media with one goal in mind: to find a new home for these lonely pups. "What we did it for is the exposure for the animals," Frankie said in an interview with Today. "We want to find them homes," Chad agreed. "Get them adopted."
