Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life Trailer

This Movie About Middle School Is Going to Be the Ferris Bueller's Day Off of Your Kid's Generation

With Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Home Alone in many a person's top movie list, it's not hard to understand why the creators of Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life would channel the best parts of both films to create one hilarious flick. Based on the book by James Patterson — and with a solid cast featuring Lauren Graham, Adam Pally, Rhetta, and Rob Riggle — this movie in which Rafe Khatchadorian (Griffin Gluck) has to navigate a new school with ridiculous rules looks like it's going to be a new family favorite. Rafe may just be this generation's Kevin McCallister or Ferris Bueller.

Watch the trailer to see an adorable preview of the film coming to theaters Oct. 7.
