Military Dad Dressed as Santa Surprises Son

Watch: Military Dad Gives Son Best Christmas Surprise Ever

A Tennessee boy's Christmas wish came true earlier this week when his Dad, Nicholas Williams, an Air Force senior airman, surprised him in his kindergarten classroom. Six-year-old Aaron Williams thought that he was getting settled for a normal storytime with the rest of his class when in walked Santa Claus. It didn't take Aaron long to realize that the man beneath the beard was in fact his Dad. "I couldn't ask for anything more than to be home for Christmas," Nicholas said.

He was granted a 28-day pass home after serving eight months of a yearlong tour of duty in North Korea. His wife, Whitney Williams, was in on the surprise for little Aaron.

"I told him that wasn't going to be possible, that [his dad] couldn't leave," she told NBC affiliate WSMV-TV. "So he started actually crying when I told him that. He was really upset. I felt like a horrible mother for lying to him like that." From Aaron's reaction, it looks like all's forgiven now. We wish the Williams family the very merry Christmas that they all deserve!
