Every year on Dec. 31, the entire world gets ready to celebrate the most famous ten seconds of the year: the last ten seconds of the year. Because midnight is way after most little ones' bedtimes (and parents', too!), Netflix has created a solution to help families ring in the New Year together at a much earlier time.

Netflix's kid-friendly countdowns are designed to help parents choose when it's time to celebrate the New Year and say goodnight, and are available through the streaming service in six varieties — Puffin Rock, Inspector Gadget, King Julien, Care Bears & Cousins, Project Mc2, and Mr. Peabody and Sherman. To find them, head over to Netflix and search "New Year's Eve," to let your child choose a video countdown and begin your celebrations as a family.

Make midnight happen whenever you want it to this year so that the kids can get to sleep at a more typical time and you can enjoy the parents-only party (or, you know, just hit the hay yourself!).
