The adorable photo shown above was shared with the father-focused social network by Matthew Smith, a military dad who shared this sweet moment with his wife and son before leaving to Afghanistan. Smith wrote, "This is a very special picture of my awesome wife holding up my son so that I could get one last kiss before I left for Afghanistan."

Although stories like these are prone to make us weepy, this one in particular was so simple yet telling of that unique bond between father and son.
