An Officer and a Father: Why the Photo of This Little Girl's Tea Party Will Make You Smile

Quality time with the kids isn't always easy to come by, and if you're a working parent, it's even harder to find. That's why we squeeze it in whenever we can. For Naples, FL, deputy Adam Dillman, that time came during a tea party with his daughter. In a photo shared on the Collier County Sheriff's Office's Facebook page, the deputy, in full uniform, is seen sitting down at a tea party with his princess-dress-clad daughter with a big smile on his face. The police department shared the photo hoping to remind their constituents that officers are humans and family people too. "This photo is a great reminder that deputies are human beings," they wrote. "They are fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters . . . they have families at home that are praying for their safety every day."

Deputy Dillman certainly isn't the only uniformed father to sit down to a pretend tea party with his daughter, but there's something about the photo that just makes us smile. Stolen moments are the best!
