Reasons to Take Your Kids Trick-or-Treating
13 Reasons You Probably Don't Want to Take Your Kid Trick-or-Treating This Year
Your kid probably spends most of the year looking forward to Oct. 31 so they can get dressed up in their Halloween costume and parade around the neighborhood asking strangers for candy (honestly, you spend all year telling them to avoid strangers and it goes completely out the window come Halloween). For real though, we can't come up with a single good thing to come out of a night trick-or-treating with your family. Read through for 13 reasons you probably should just skip the tradition this year.
1 The candy tastes way too good.
2 Your kid's arms are going to hurt from carrying buckets full of candy around the neighborhood all night.
3 Your child might get a full candy bar at one house.
4 There are ridiculous amounts of decorations everywhere.
5 Your child might get complimented on their costume.
6 You won’t be able to handle all of opportunities for photos.
7 The other kids will encourage your child to smile, laugh, and scream in delight.
8 There might be too many adorable babies dressed up in tiny costumes.
9 You child is going to have to face way too many difficult decisions.
10 And then YOU will have to make tons of tough choices.
11 There are probably going to be way too many houses to hit in one night.
12 There are going to be way too many decorative lights on the houses.
13 Your child might want to trick-or-treat again next year as a result.
