You've been there, I've been there, we've all been there — you're walking merrily along, pacing your own house in bare feet, because hey, it's your house, when it happens: you step on a stray Lego brick. Searing pain in your foot follows, and a string of expletives escapes your mouth.
Luckily those days will soon be behind you, as Lego is finally holding itself accountable for creating these devilish little bricks by designing a pair of slippers with tons of padding to protect bare feet specifically from its own product (and small ears from aforementioned strings of expletives).
Unfortunately, the advertising company that is designing the product for Lego, Brand Station, is only making 1,500 pairs. To win a pair, you must be French (rats for us) and fill out a Christmas wish list on the French Lego website. Seeing as this is the perfect gift for parents — and kids — we hope that the insane media attention surrounding the brilliant product convinces Lego to mass-produce them so we can all grab a pair.
Save the bare feet, Lego. Save the bare feet.
