Be Grateful For an Adorable Thanksgiving Kid Table

"We have a Fall landscape painting by local artist David Farmer hanging in our living room," Deanna says. "I've always envisioned a Thanksgiving dessert table set up beneath this beautiful painting. Since I wanted the painting to be the focus of the table, I kept most of the other decorations simple. And, like the painting, the desserts are rustic with just a little touch of glam."

"For the desserts, I made a rustic pumpkin stack cake, a modern update to the classic Appalachian apple stack cake. It is made with pumpkin-flavored cake and pumpkin butter between the many layers and is served with cinnamon whipped cream," Deanna says. "The dessert table also included maple crème cookies, mini apple blueberry pies, pumpkin pie, and caramel apples."

Spray-painted turkeys mingled with pumpkins and red roses for this rustic-glam table.

Caramel apples appealed to guests of all ages.
