Yikes! Vornado Just Recalled 5,000 Cribside Space Heaters Due to Fire Hazards

Parents who live in chilly regions, be warned: Vornado Air just recalled 5,000 cribside space heaters because they can potentially start fires or cause burns.
In a press release dated Jan. 31, Vornado said that certain Sunny CS Nursery Heaters were being recalled in the US due to "broken motor mounts in transit to retailers and consumers that can allow the heating element to contact interior materials." So far, there have been five reports of the heaters catching on fire.
These cribside heaters were sold nationwide in stores and online at Bed Bath & Beyond, BuyBuy Baby, Target, Amazon, and Vornado.com between October 2017 and December 2017. They retailed for $100 each.
Think you have an affected product? Check the silver tag on the bottom of the unit to make sure:
- The model/type is a "SUNNY CS EH1-0090."
- The numbers 1 and 7 are the fourth and fifth digits of the serial number.
