"Teddy Rescue" Reunites Children With Lost Stuffed Animals

Nothing breaks a child's heart more than losing their favorite stuffed animal. But for kids in Great Britain, these prized possessions may not be gone forever. British travel company First Great Western recently launched Teddy Rescue, a program that reunites tots with their lost toys. Should a child lose their stuffed animal or doll on a First Great Western train route, they can scroll through the Teddy Rescue database to see if a photo of their toy has been posted. To prevent people from claiming the wrong toy, the family must email Teddy Rescue noting where the item was lost and describing any distinctive features. If it's a match, First Great Western sends the toy back to its rightful owner. Simple and sweet, right? Now if only we could implement this in the US.
