A New Hatchimal Just Dropped, and You'll Want to Order It Now to Avoid Holiday Craziness

Buckle up, parents: as with past holiday seasons, Spin Master is revealing a brand-new Hatchimal that is going to be at the top of so many kids' wish lists. The unique spin on the hot toy this time? BABIES!

"Hatchimals is revealing its BIGGEST surprise yet on Hatchimals Day (Friday, Oct. 5): the arrival of HatchiBabies!" Spin Master shared with POPSUGAR. Although your kids will have to wait until the "due date" to find out what the new species will look like, there is some news the brand is sharing in advance: inside each speckled egg will be either a baby boy or girl, and your child can discover "secret compartments" inside their hatched egg, "adding even more play opportunities."

To celebrate the new release, Spin Master will be hosting a special event for Hatchimals Day in Los Angeles. From Oct. 5 to 7, LA locals can visit The Grove to see a pop-up Hatchery Nursery and be the first to meet some of the new HatchiBabies. Kids can also engage in some exciting Hatchimals-inspired activities with some special guests: two of Nickelodeon's biggest stars, Daniella Perkins and Lilimar Hernandez of Knight Squad.
