Alicia Silverstone's Son Is Basically Her Best Friend

Bear Blu Jarecki was born May 5, 2011. He is Alicia's only child, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Christopher. Alicia and Bear are super close, and she shares numerous pictures of the two of them on Instagram, often traveling. Bear lives a vegan lifestyle, and Alicia even said in 2018 that she ascribes his good health to his diet. She also credits his veganism for his good behavior.

And though Alicia and Bear are best pals, she told Working Mother magazine in 2018 that her son was starting to be very independent. "Bear doesn't need me! I mean, of course he needs me, but he's so free," she said. "He's always talking to people, asking if he could help them. He buses tables at restaurants. He hands things out and takes the trash back on airplanes."
