There's no slowing down the invasion of tablets in the kiddie world, but the latest one to join the fray may be the cutest of all. Fuhu, the company behind the popular Android-powered Nabi line of kids tablets, is partnering with DreamWorks, the animation company behind such hits as Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda, to introduce the DreamTab. The new tablet will house exclusive DreamWorks content for kids including Dancing Madagascar penguins greeting users, Shrek telling kids it's time to power down, and even an animation lesson taught by DreamWorks employees. But DreamTab users will also have the ability to stream non-DreamWorks content, including programs from Nickelodeon and Disney. DreamWorks character accessories will also be available separately.
The DreamTab should be available this Spring, and prices are expected to start below $300.
