19 Things We Can't Wait to Get Our Hands On in the Coming Months

There's no shortage of goodies coming parents' way over the coming months, as we saw at the ABC Kids Expo last week. While many were designed out of necessity — products that will improve both parents' and kids' lives, save them some time, or make a difficult task easier — others are simply there to make families' lives a little more stylish.

We saw hundreds of new products fitting both these categories, and while all were fun to look at, some we can't stop thinking about — even a week later. Here, the 19 products we can't wait to see on store shelves. Tell us, which look most exciting to you?

01
Orbit Baby JO2

Orbit Baby JO2

The Orbit Baby O2 is entering the jogging stroller market with a modified version of their popular stroller. Its stroller's seat moves back and down with just one click to convert from an everyday city stroller into a jogger — the seat can also be placed in a rear-facing position so kids can face their parents while they run. Like most joggers, the rear wheels are bigger and sturdier than their city versions, and it accommodates car seats, so parents can start running as soon as their doctors give them permission. The frame ($600) fits any Orbit seat but can be bought as a whole system for $900. Expect it Summer 2015.

Doona Infant Car Seat Stroller

Doona Infant Car Seat Stroller

Doona may be the ultimate travel stroller. It is an infant seat with integrated wheels that can be pulled down into a full-size stroller. While it looks heavy, it's actually only 17 pounds and holds children up to 35 pounds. It installs with or without its base, making it perfect for families on the go.

03
Bugaboo Cameleon Diesel Collection

Bugaboo Cameleon Diesel Collection

Perhaps the most exciting thing to come out of Bugaboo in 2014 will be the start-up company's three-year collaboration with denim company Diesel. The Bugaboo Cameleon Diesel Collection Stroller ($1,299) is full of fun military details — a mesh canopy (a first for a traditional Bugaboo hood), leatherette handles and bumper bar, a military pouch on the back of the seat, yellow shocks, cool hubcaps, and some really fun accessories. Expect to see it strolling your streets this Fall.

04
Aden + Anais Merino Collection

Aden + Anais Merino Collection

Aden + Anais debuted their luxury merino wool muslin collection at the show — it is the first of its kind. Unbelievably soft and incredibly versatile, the collection includes blankets (kid- and adult-sized) ($400) and sleep sacks ($180). And, best of all, the collection is machine washable and dryable! Thanks to a trademarked weave, the products won't shrink! Talkabout luxury gift giving!

05
Ubbi Tweat

Ubbi Tweat

A fun take on the classic snack trap, Ubbi's Tweat ($9) keeps snacks safe, fresh, and cutely kept in these adorable containers. The closeable lid also helps keep mom's bag clean. They'll be out in January.

06
Britax Click-Tight Convertible Car Seat

Britax Click-Tight Convertible Car Seat

In August, Britax introduced its Click-Tight technology — a system that makes convertible-car-seat installation quick and secure in a matter of minutes. The system does not use LATCH technology; rather, it threads the seatbelt straps under the seat for the most secure fit we've ever seen — we mean it. We gave the technology a go and it took no time to get the seat into the car and ready to go. The car seats ($329) hit stores this month.

07
Cybex Cloud Q Infant Car Seat

Cybex Cloud Q Infant Car Seat

A JPMA Innovation Award winner, the Cybex Cloud Q Infant Car Seat (approximately $400) will be the most unique infant carrier on the market — it reclines, completely! The seat, which is basically the Aton Q seat, flattens out so baby can recline when the seat is in a stroller or on the floor (but not in the car). As parents that have had to wake kids transferring them from the car to the stroller, and vice versa, this is one product we can't wait to see in action.

08
Puj Filla Cup

Puj Filla Cup

Kids have a habit of leaving their cups all over the place but never being able to find one when they need one. Puj will change that with Filla — a cup that hangs on a nub that attaches to the refrigerator so cups are never lost again, and kids can gain some independence. Expect them in stores in January.

09
Nurseryworks Halo Crib

Nurseryworks Halo Crib

OK, not really a necessity, but how beautiful is Nurseryworks's ultraluxe Halo crib ($6,900)? It is plated in 24K gold. The crib converts into a toddler bed so given how much you're paying for it, you'll get quite a few years out of it! It will be available in early October.

10
Babymoov Camera

Babymoov Camera

A winner of the JPMA Innovation award, the Babymoov Camera ($200) is the first camera ever created with zero percent electromagnetic waves, making it the safest one for babies. It took the company's founders three years to develop the wired camera that hooks onto cribs with a patent-pending wire that cannot be removed from the camera. It connects to your home WiFi network so its feed can be viewed on your phone or tablet via an app. You can talk to your baby through the app, turn on colored lights, play music, take pictures, and more. The camera will be available in March 2015.

11
JJ Rabbit

JJ Rabbit

Austin-based JJ Rabbit is making toddler mealtime a lot more fun. The company's tableware is all made from plants, and its cups feature fun surprises inside.

12
Silikids Siliskin Straw Tops

Silikids Siliskin Straw Tops

One of our favorite finds at the fair, the Siliskin Straw Tops ($9 for three) convert any glass into a spill-proof cup. Just slip them (sippy cup or straw-up style) over a glass's opening, and you're set! Expect to see them in stores Dec. 1.

13
Stokke's The Trailz Stroller

Stokke's The Trailz Stroller

Stokke is taking its Cruisi stroller off-roading. The Trailz ($1,299) is the company's first all-terrain stroller. It has bigger tires and a huge waterpoof underbasket and can be set in one of five positions. The stroller will be out Oct. 1.

14
4 Moms mamaRoo

4 Moms mamaRoo

The ultrapopular mamaRoo is getting a sleek upgrade. The base is smaller, the control panel is more compact, and it can be controlled via an app — meaning parents can make the mamaRoo work from any room in the house.

15
Maxi Cosi Pria 70 Convertible Car Seat

Maxi Cosi Pria 70 Convertible Car Seat

Maxi Cosi's popular Pria 70 Convertible Car Seat ($249) got a bit of a makeover, including a canopy — the only convertible car seat on the market that features one. It sounds like a small feature, but it is one that parents can certainly appreciate, especially when the seat is rear-facing.

16
Aden + Anais Toddler Bedding

Aden + Anais Toddler Bedding

Not only is Aden + Anais's new muslin toddler bedding adorable, but it also has a fun little trick. The foot of the top sheet and the foot of the bottom sheet are attached, so kids can't kick the sheets off the bed — we can't wait for March!

17
7 AM Enfant Easy Cover Sleeved Blanket

7 AM Enfant Easy Cover Sleeved Blanket

Toddlers will able to stay warm and toasty in their convertible car seats and strollers thanks to 7 AM Enfant's Easy Cover Sleeved Blanket. It is a hands-first cover, so it doesn't interfere with the car seat's straps at all. Consider it a blanket with arms, so it won't slip off, and tots remain covered at all times.

18
Bugaboo Runner

Bugaboo Runner

Bugaboo will be losing a wheel and gaining speed this Spring when they introduce their first jogging stroller — the Runner. The frame, with it's extended front wheel, fits any Bugaboo seat and let's the child face either direction, so the wind won't always be in their face.

19
Baby Jogger Vue Double

Baby Jogger Vue Double

In March, Baby Jogger will introduce the Vue Double ($399). With reversible seats, the stroller can be pushed in a number of combinations with babies from birth up to 50 pounds each (yes, you could be pushing 100 pounds of kids here!). The Vue Double will also accommodate two soft prams.
