These Girl Scouts Had the Most Epic Sleepover at the White House

This was one sleepover we wish we were invited to!

On Tuesday night, Girl Scouts pitched their tents on the White House lawn for a first ever overnight camping trip hosted by First Lady Michelle Obama. As part of her Let's Move Outside event, the honorary president of the Girl Scouts of America invited 50 children to take part in this incredible experience.

The Girl Scouts rock climbed, stargazed, and even visited the first lady's garden to learn about health and fitness. After a healthy dinner, they were joined by President Barack Obama, who led a sing-along with First Lady Michelle. The president was seen laughing around the campfire and even showed some young children how to use a telescope.

The whole event was made even sweeter, however, when President Obama said he would give group hugs to all 50 girls before they went to sleep. Even a storm that rolled in at night didn't dampen the spirits of the campers. They were quickly escorted to an even more exciting sleeping spot — the Eisenhower Executive Office Building!
