This Kids' Table Just Got a Serious Upgrade With This Children's Friendsgiving

Jenny Cookies

Have your kids get in on the holiday fun by letting them host their very own Friendsgiving!

For their festive celebration, Jenny of Jenny Cookies and her children dressed up their party table with DIY apple place settings made from red plates with brown and green construction paper cut into a stem and leaf. For lunch, they treated guests to a seasonal menu of apple juice with life-like turkey sandwiches. After cutting the bread with a circle and flower cookie cutter and adding edible eyeballs, a beak made of cheese, and a gobbler made from a fruit strip, their turkeys came to life. A cider and cinnamon doughnut bar completed the fall meal.

To keep everyone entertained, consider seasonal crafts and activities. While some kids bob for apples (don't overlook the classics!), others can make turkey apples with gum drops, marshmallows, and toothpicks. A muffin tin is an adorable way to organize (and display!) craft supplies, and kids will love sorting through their options. As a final touch, everyone will be thankful for candied apples to snack on at the end of such an exciting day!
