When Lego and Disney Collide, You Get These Gotta-Have Minifigures
There's only one thing that could make Legos better while also making them smaller, and that's Disney. The popular lineup of teeny-tiny Lego Minifigures is expanding to include some of the most beloved Walt Disney characters of all time.
But before you start clearing out space, only 18 Minifigures will debut in this new series, and it's not all the characters you'd expect. Although movie characters, including some from Aladdin and The Little Mermaid, were included, Ariel is the only Disney princess to make the cut. The lineup also includes classics — think Mickey and Minnie Mouse as well as Donald and Daisy Duck — and 1950s-era characters from Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland, and Peter Pan. Pixar favorites from Toy Story and The Incredibles — which has never been seen in the Lego world until now — also make miniature appearances.
The new collectible series launches May 1, and they'll be available for $4 each in toy stores and at shop.lego.com.
