If you're a fan of the original Maelstrom ride in the Norway Pavilion, the Frozen Ever After ride is very similar. "We're tweaking the ride system slightly," Niederhiser said. "But it's going to be very similar, with some unexpected twists."
The ride is a trip through Arendelle. "We really are going to have the opportunity to go on a Norwegian boat adventure," she explained. "Going through Arendelle, you set sail from there. You go up to the North Mountain and it really is a Winter in Summer celebration that Elsa has invited everyone up to the North Mountain, into her ice palace. So you get to see some of your favorite characters, hear some of your favorite songs."
The Frozen Ever After ride is designed for children of all ages, though Niederhiser declined to compare it to any other rides at other Disney parks. She said, "It's really for anyone who loves Frozen and loves the story of love conquering fear."
