21 Reasons My Kid Can't Eat the Food I Cooked For Them

Kids have the weirdest "rules" when it comes to food and how they like their meals prepared and presented to them. The picky eating — or general "I don't like this because [insert ridiculous reason]" — phase is just one of those stress-inducing things about kids that make it very hard for us to remember why we wanted little rugrats in the first place but also result in some of the funniest parenting moments of all time.

Ahead, a variety of reasons — some of which will look suspiciously familiar — as to why your kid can't eat the meal you prepared for them. (Which is nine times out of 10 the exact thing they asked for. Kids . . . )
