1 Photographer Is Speaking Up For a Client Receiving Backlash Over a Sexy Post-Baby Photo Shoot

After having three kids in just one year, Mel Louise was looking to find a way to feel great about her postpartum body. After an intimate photo shoot with her husband Gabby, taken by photographer Trina Cary, she was feeling more accepting of her strong and beautiful body that delivered her son and twin girls.
"Not once did Gabby ever make me feel insecure about the way I looked," Mel told Cary before the shoot. "He still thought I looked just as beautiful as the day he met me. It was time for me to feel the same about myself and set an example for my girls."
Unfortunately, the gorgeous photos that resulted from the shoot were criticized online, and Mel was shamed for being "too skinny to be insecure" and a "slut."
In an effort to stand up for her client and what she felt was right, Cary fought back against the attackers on her Facebook page.
"This session was not about two people being vain this was about learning to love yourself again. . . . This woman has dedicated her life to her husband and her children. She is fighting personal insecurities and your best comment is to trash her?! It makes me physically sick reading comments like these. Words hurt, people! I feel sorry for the authors of these comments because they are the ones who need a session like this most but will never have the courage or strength to do one. They are the ones shrouded in jealousy and insecurities and choose to reply out of [spite]."
