Rainbow birth stories are some of our favorites because of the uplifting sentiment behind them. A rainbow baby is one who is born after a miscarriage or stillbirth, given the title of "rainbow" baby to show the beauty after the pain. The eight pregnancies ahead are all rainbow babies whose parents consider them to be little miracles, and each one makes us tear up because despite the devastating circumstances that made these little ones rainbow babies, we're so happy for each family.

Liam was a rainbow baby, and his birth was an extraspecial moment for his mom and dad, Erikah and Luke. Eighteen months before Liam was born, Erikah gave birth to a stillborn baby girl named Ailene and shared that baby Liam was "proof that there is life after loss."

When baby Charlotte's mom brought a rainbow headband to her newborn shoot and explained that it was because of her rainbow baby status, photographer Jen Priester asked if she could expand on that idea to really portray the beauty of a rainbow birth.

After five miscarriages, Jennie learned that she had a rare chromosome disorder and that because of her condition, she had a 95 percent chance of losing any pregnancy. They found that IVF was still an option and were able to have miracle baby Harper Grace.

Although Otis a reality star known for being on The Bachelor and Married at First Sight, she became even more of a household name when she openly shared the devastating details of her miscarriage back in October with a blog post and photo on Instagram.

Almost a year to the day after losing baby Lily 34 minutes after her birth, Kristen Ward welcomed a healthy baby in the same hospital, with the same doctor and much of the same medical staff. Unlike with Lily, where Kristen had a difficult time pushing, baby Harper — all 8 pounds and 6 ounces of her — came out in just one push, to the delight of her new family, especially older brother Cooper.
