"With absolutely zero exaggeration — the first time I saw this scene was the hardest I've ever cried in my entire life. Because I was Andy's age when the first Toy Story came out, I felt a strong connection to Buzz, Woody, and the rest of the gang. The way they love and take care of each other is evident throughout the series, but never more so than when they all realize their doomed fate in the fiery incinerator. When Woody finally grabbed Buzz's hand and the scene panned out to the fire and the chain of linked toys, I thought my eyes were going to fall out." — Alessia
"I openly wept during the Toy Story 3 scene when the toys just accept their death, which is incredibly traumatizing and how dare they put that in a children's movie, but was also just so deep. When they realize they have no way of escaping and start linking hands, I genuinely wondered if this was truly how my childhood would be coming to an end. Yes, I was a legal adult, but I still had some semblance of happiness from my childhood movies, and Pixar was really about to wreck it! I'm still scarred by that scene and haven't rewatched it since." — Mekishana
